🏒 Spring Hockey: Pick-Up Format

This spring Hockey Saint-Laurent will offer a 4×4 recreational “pick-up” format – 5×5 if there is high demand.

Game Format & Schedule

  • Weekly Teams: Players will be separated into teams according to their level of play.

  • Duration: Each match will be 50 minutes (like the regular season).

  • Officiating: A Hockey Saint-Laurent referee will be assigned to each game.

  • Start Date: We plan to start the season April 12.

  • Locations & Times: * Raymond Bourque: Most games between 17h and 20h, inclusive, or Saturdays at 20h.

    • Cegep: A few games on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Categories & Eligibility

  • U11 to 19+: Minimum of 16 players and 2 goalkeepers required.

  • 18+: Open to 18-25 years old; please register JR or SR as per player’s age.

  • U9 Division: * 4×4 on half ice (Minimum 28 players and 4 goalkeepers across 4 teams).

    • Open to players moving up to U9 next year.

    • Schedule: Always at 5pm at Raymond Bourque.

  • Outside Players: Players from outside the association may play with a temporary release from their association or school.

[!IMPORTANT] Casual Players: You can register as a replacement for a missing regular player. To be added to this list, please email: 4×4@hockeystl.com.

Special Requests

If players are missing or there are too many players for some levels, we may offer for 2nd year players only to play up a level (particularly A or double-letter players).
